Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Final Inspector to join their client's team in California. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of quality are met in the inspection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). This is a temp-to-hire position, offering a fantastic opportunity for growth within the electronics manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and engineering specifications to gather necessary information such as material, electrical, and cosmetic requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, process specifications, IPC-610 standards, J-STD-001, and customer-specific criteria.
• Conduct inspections on electrical or electronic components using electrical meters or instruments to confirm adherence to specifications.
• Inspect conformal coatings under both black and white light.
• Perform and document first article inspections of boards after Thru-Hole processing.
• Conduct sub-assembly, box build, shipping, and receiving inspections as required.
• Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action activities, and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related inspection experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and PCB gerbers.
• Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal, at a general business level.
• Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts.
• Knowledge of various computer programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (1st Shift)

Important! This Inspector must have experience inspecting PCBA for at least 6 hours using a microscope.

Additional Details

Salary: $25 - $26 per hour
